Motzei Shabbos Street Closings in Manhattan Due to New Year's Eve in Times Square
Rockland Daily Staff
Those planning on traveling Motzei Shabbos through Manhatten en route to or from Rockland should be aware of the expected increased traffic on the West Side.
As the annual New Year's eve ball drop in Times Square returns to its usual pre-pandemic level of celebration for the first time, the NYPD will be closing streets surrounding the area in anticipation of the expected crowds.
Streets that will be closed include 59th Street on the north, 38th Street on the south, Eighth Avenue on the west, and Sixth Avenue on the east.
