Two Boys Home From Hospital After New Hempstead Bus Accident

The two 5-year-old boys who were hospitalized last week after their cheder bus crashed into two cars and a house in New Hempstead were released from the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla yesterday.
According to police, 21 students plus the driver were injured in the Thursday morning crash on December 1. Seven students were taken to the Westchester Medical Center. Five were released shortly thereafter.
The Ramapo Police Department crash investigation team continues to investigate the cause of the crash along with the state Department of Transportation because the incident involves a school bus.
