Rockland County Retiring COVID-19 Dashboard

Rockland County Retiring COVID-19 Dashboard

Rockland Daily Staff

Effective Friday, December 9th, 2022, the County of Rockland will retire the COVID-19 Hub landing page and dashboards used since 2020 to communicate the status of the pandemic within Rockland County.

“When the pandemic began, we led the way in launching one of the first COVID-19 dashboards to keep Rockland residents informed of our local situation," County Executive Ed Day shares.

With the approach of 2023, there are significantly fewer cases and less risk of severe illness, allowing the County to retire the dashboard.

The labor-intensive process, which takes more than a full day to prepare and upload, is duplicative of what will continue to be provided on the New York State Department of Health website. The move will enable the County to divert these resources to other health concerns as needed.
