Rockland County’s Communication Division Pays a Visit to New Square Shul

The Rockland County Sheriff Department, the Ramapo Police Department, and the county’s communication division paid a visit to the New Square Shul Wednesday to ensure that the county’s radio system transmits effectively throughout the shul to be prepared for emergencies.

The shul has many spots, particularly in the basement, that don’t support radio transmissions efficiently. Although Hatzolah has already invested and succeeded in perfecting its private radio system within those spots, the county’s system still isn’t working properly.

Yesterday, the team of personnel conducted communications tests to identify exactly what work is needed to achieve a perfectly functioning system.

Afterward, they paid a visit to the construction site of the new shul that is in the process of being built. There too they discussed how they will properly connect the county’s radio systems.
