Town of Ramapo Police Department Swears in New Police Officer

The Town of Ramapo Police Department welcomed a new police officer to the department yesterday. 

Family, friends, Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht, and Ramapo Police Department officers were in attendance as Vincent Gisonno was sworn in. 

Police Officer Gisonno was issued shield #79, the same shield number his grandfather, Detective Sergeant Carmen Gisonno carried. Detective Sergeant Gisonno served with the Ramapo Police Department from June 1964 to October 1986.
