Weekend Weather: A Cold, Rainy Friday Night With Potential for Snow

Yaker Biegeleisen

This weekend will see cold rain with the possibility of snow.

Friday night will see rain throughout the night, with temperatures in the low 30's, gradually turning to sleet and snow. Toward early morning, a secondary storm will form off the New Jersey coast, pulling in more cold air.

There is a chance of accumulation, depending on how fast the changeover from rain to snow will be.

Any accumulation will be gone by midday when temps go up to the mid-40's.
