Town of Ramapo Offers Defensive Driving Classes

The Town of Ramapo is offering NY State, defensive driving classes.

The National Safety Council-approved six-hour classes will teach defensive driving techniques following the NSC guidelines. Upon completion of the class, students are eligible to get a 10% reduction on their collision insurance premiums. 

The classes will take place on Thursday, January 26, and Thursday, February 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a one-hour break for lunch. 

The course costs $30 for residents or $35 for non-residents. The classes will take place at the Ramapo Learning Center on 225 Route 59 in Airmont. Call 845-357-6100 to register.
