Rockland's Grand Annual Chanukah Parade Culminates With Celebration at the Palisades Mall

Rockland County's annual Grand Chanuka Menorah parade took place tonight on the first night of Chanuka and ended with a grand menorah lighting and Chanukah celebration at the Palisades Mall.
The parade was held in the spirit of Hakhel with the participation of many local shuls.
A record-breaking number of vehicles, most adorned with menorahs, began to line up at 5:45 pm at the Tzemach Tzedek shul on Langeries Drive and drove around Rockland on a pre-specified route.
The highlight of the evening was the grand menorah lighting in a huge open area of the Palisades Mall. Hundreds of onlookers were able to take in the view from all around on the floors above as the menorah was lit. The celebration included live music, doughnuts, and entertainment by Cousin Nochum.
