Rockland County Health Department Treats Area for Mosquitoes

The Rockland County Health Department has been treating catch basins, and storm drains to prevent mosquitoes from breeding inside structures containing standing water. 

Residents are asked to avoid parking over drains during this time as this could potentially block access to the drain for the treatment. Drivers should also look out for Health Department staff on the roads as they might be driving slowly in County vehicles while doing the mosquito treatments.
