Reminder - Deadline to Request Non-Public School Busing Transportation for Next Year Is April 1

All requests for school bus transportation to a non-public school for the 2024-2025 school year must be submitted in writing to the appropriate transportation department no later than Monday, April 1.

The written requests need to be submitted every single year for a school which is within fifteen miles of the student’s residence.

If a child has graduated 8th grade and has not yet finalized where they will be going for high school/mesivta, parents should send in an application for one of their choices in order to be able to change locations if necessary for the following year.

New residents need to submit the request form within 30 days of establishing residency.

Parents of students who are five years old as of December 1 of the current calendar year will need to provide proof of age with a birth certificate and proof of residence.
