Nanuet High School Student's Loaded Gun Confiscated on School Grounds

A Nanuet high school senior came to school with a loaded handgun on Monday, January 30.

After an unknown individual told administrators the student had a gun, the gun was confiscated without incident on the same day. 

"It is important for the community to know," Schools Superintendent Kevin McCahill said in a statement, "that this report was made by an individual who followed our Emergency Response protocols which encourage immediate reports of any potential threats to the safety of our members of our school community."
