Misaskim's Drive for More Chesed

After serving as a vehicle for chesed since 2007, Rockland County's Misaskim van drove its last mile before breaking down yesterday while doing shiva deliveries. 

The organization and those who cannot do without its services are in dire need of a brand-new van and shelving equipment to continue serving the Rockland Community.

Misaskim, the world-famous organization founded by Rabbi Yankie Mayer zt'l, should require no depiction or write-up. Everyone knows and understands the true chesed that simply appears whenever a Yiddishe neshama departs this world. What is less known is the endless breadth of Yankie’s legacy of chesed resourcefulness that has permanently changed the landscape of Klal Yisrael.  

The new van will be named l'iluy nishmas Rabbi Mayer, zt"l.
