Guidance on How to Report Pothole as Road Repairs Continue Throughout the County

By M. C. Millman

Spring is in the air,  and the Rockland County Highway Department crews are out in force filling and patching potholes county-wide.

Residents can report problematic roads and potholes on county-maintained roads by calling 845-638-5060, emailing [email protected], or filing a Request for Service here.

Residents should be aware that numbered roads are state roadways. A complete list of county roads can be found here.

To report on the state's highway systems, including the Thruway, call the NYSDOT toll-free hotline at 1-800-POTHOLE (1-800-768-4653).
