County Executive Delivers 2024 State of the County Address

County Executive Ed Day highlighted the work of Rockland County Government employees and the continued growth of Rockland’s economy Tuesday in the 2024 State of the County Address.
The County Executive spoke from the lobby of the Robert L. Yeager Health Center to Commissioners, Department Heads, employees, elected officials, and residents of Rockland.
“The current focus of my administration is maximizing momentum we have generated to ensure this County’s continued success and fiscal stability for generations to come,” said County Executive Ed Day.
Recent Rockland County accomplishments include increased funding to non-profits, equipping school buses with stop-arm cameras, zero property tax increase two years in a row, followed by 2% property tax cut.
Other major highlights presented by County Executive Day include the purchase of two dozen new TRIPS paratransit uses and increased Childcare assistance funding by $2 million.
