Congressman Mike Lawler Announces Historic $2.1 Million for Flood Prevention in Clarkstown

Congressman Mike Lawler was joined this morning by Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann, local and state elected officials, and residents of Jeffrey Court on location to officially announce a substantial, multi-million dollar investment in flood prevention in the Town of Clarkstown.

As previously reported by Rockland Daily here, the $2.1 million in federal funds will go towards a project on Jeffrey Court, an area with chronic flooding in West Nyack and flooding issues along the New York State Thruway.
