Boyaner Kehillah in Monsey Announces Opening of Monsey Cheder
By: Yitzy Fried
The Boyaner kehillah in Monsey is now close to half a century old. It was founded in the dining room of Reb Moshe Fischman, z”l, from a prominent Boyaner family.
It would take some time before they would open a “Kloiz” of their own... and by now, the kehillah has grown by leaps and bounds—as has the greater Monsey community.
Following the completion of a magnificent Kloiz in recent years, on Yale Drive, askonim of the chassidus have now embarked upon founding a Talmud Torah.
While a nursery class has already formed at the beginning of this year, the Cheder will be opening a Kindergarten class next year, in addition to a new incoming nursery class—and looks forward to even more rapid growth in the coming years.
In a notice sent out by the cheder, they note the deadline for registration for next year as 5 Adar II, the yohrtzeit of Rav Mordechai Shlomo of Boyan, who transplanted the holy dynasty to American shores, where it has experienced miraculous rebirth.
