Woman Critically Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash

The 27-year-old dirt bike driver was seriously injured when she was hit by a BMW SUV in Nanuet on Tuesday night, July 12.

The accident occurred on N. Pascack Road and Clark Drive.

The dirt bike rider was conscious but unable to communicate with the officers at the scene, given the extent of her injuries. She was treated by Nanuet Ambulance and Rockland Paramedics and transported to Westchester Medical Center.

The 38-year-old driver of the BMW from West Haverstraw, was driving with a suspended license. She was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and issued an appearance ticket. 

The dirt bike driver was also issued a ticket for driving an unregistered motor vehicle.
