Suffern Police Department Promotes Sergeant Simurra to Detective

The Suffern Police Department welcomed the promotion of Detective Sergeant Simurra on Monday, March 4.

The Sergeant was promoted during a Village of Suffern Board of Trustees meeting.

Sergeant William Simurra joined the Suffern Police Department in 2014 and worked in the capacity of patrol officer until his promotion to patrol Sergeant in 2020.
