Senator Weber Addresses Teamsters on Deteriorating Road Conditions in Hudson Valley

By M. C. Millman

Yesterday, Senator Bill Weber attended and spoke at the Hudson Valley road funding rally at the Teamsters Local 456 Union Hall in Elmsford, where Local construction unions demanded more support for roads and bridges, pointing to the lack of funding that has resulted in the deteriorating infrastructure conditions in the Hudson Valley as reported yesterday by Rockland Daily here

"The Hudson Valley has had the worst road and bridge conditions in the entire state for over 10 years," Senator Weber said. "This is a disgrace, and it is only compounded by the high taxes and tolls we are forced to pay while we watch our infrastructure crumble around us. I am proud to stand here today with these union members to call for this priority funding being included in the budget this year. This is just another classic example of Albany’s priorities being completely out of wack.”
