Rockland Pre-Pesach Garbage Collection Schedule

As Pesach draws closer, Rockland towns and villages have added extra garbage collection capability within each location. 

The Village of Wesley Hills will have roll-out containers in the Village Hall parking lot on Route 306 from Sunday, April 21, starting at nine a.m. until Monday, April 22, at four p.m. 

The Village of New Hempstead will have an additional pickup on Sunday, April 21, in addition to the village's regular pickup on Monday. 

The Village of Spring Valley will have four extra collections to cover all zones for the entire village starting Thursday, April 18; Friday, April 19; Sunday, April 21; and Monday, April 22.

In the Village of Airmont, on Monday, April 22, just before Pesach, there will be a temporary change in the garbage pickup schedule. Instead of the regular route, which only covers half of the village, the entire village will have its garbage collected. Additionally, roll-up containers will be available from Sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon at the Village Hall, providing residents with a convenient disposal option. 

The Town of Ramapo will add additional crews for pick up with one additional collection on Saturday, April 20. 

Residents are encouraged to place bulk items for collection starting Monday, April 8.
