Rockland County Drug Dealer Sentenced for Brutal Assaults

Wayne Hicks, 32, a Rockland County drug dealer, was sentenced to serve seventeen years in prison for drug trafficking and violent crimes.
When one of Hick's drug dealers was robbed, Hicks allegedly arranged for the shooting of one of the robbers. When another of his dealers was robbed, Hicks allegedly lured the robber out, whereupon he was attacked with a baseball bat and belt, stripped, robbed, and had his hands and feet slashed while he was stabbed with a knife and left bleeding in a snowbank.
Hicks previously pled guilty to charges including robbery, travel act assault, conspiracy to distribute marijuana, and possessing a firearm.
