Parking Lot Fire Extinguished by Suffern Firefighters

Suffern Volunteer Hose Co. #1 made quick work of a garbage fire located in one of the parking lots on Washington Avenue in Suffern.

The fire was reported at 12:45 this afternoon. It started in the rear of a garbage truck, which was subsequently dumped out to facilitate the firefighting operations of the firefighters.
