by M.C. Millman

As part of North Rockland Safety Patrol, NRSP Street Safety Campaign, over four thousand reflectors are available for pickup at no charge.

"This campaign is about keeping our neighborhoods safe and avoiding tragedy c’v," Shimmy Teicher, Chief of NRSP, shares with Rockland Daily. "We encourage each and every one to be involved, so this campaign is a success."

Residents can pick up their reflectors at the Pomona Village Hall on Ladentown Road, the Haverstraw Police Department, and at shuls in Pomona, Garnerville, Haverstraw, and Stony Point.

NRSP night patrol units have been giving them out as well to anyone who needs one.

"We are looking forward to our newest Be Seen Be Safe Street Safe Campaign," says Joel Neuman, Captain of NRSP. "We are looking forward to getting the entire community involved by promoting safety, encouraging, and working on an exciting youth program to get the youth involved.

"We want to thank our dedicated volunteers and our local community sponsors, Deejays, Perfect Restoration, and the Stern team for promoting and helping us in this initiative."

Residents can also call the NRSP office at 845-442-2901 to request reflectors.
