Nightly Lane Closures Expected on Route 59

The New York State Department of Transportation advises motorists to watch out for lane closures on Route 59 eastbound and westbound starting Monday, August 22. 

The lane closures will facilitate roadway paving between Route 303 in Clarkstown and Route 9W in Orangetown. Lane closures will begin at 8 p.m. and conclude at 6 a.m. throughout the week. 

Paving should be completed Friday, August 26.
