Male Arrested in Ramapo for Driving Under the Influence with Three Children in the Car

A 37-year-old male from Monroe was arrested after being stopped for a traffic infraction.
Ramapo police officer stopped the male at 2:54 a.m. Monday morning and noticed evidence that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol.
The man's 8-year-old daughter and 3-month-old son were in the vehicle, along with a 1-year-old baby boy.
The man was processed for the following four charges:
3 Counts of DWI with Child in Vehicle (Leandra's Law/Felony)
Driving While Intoxicated (Misdemeanor)
3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Misdemeanor)
False Personation
ln accordance with NYS Bail Reform, the man was released without bail and is due back in court.
