Last night, Hillcrest Fire Company No. 1 members participated in an extrication drill on an SUV donated to the fire company for member training.

The hands-on training with a real vehicle allowed members to sharpen skills while allowing newer members to learn and master the variety of different jobs that must be done during an extrication call. The hands-on experience with the tools being utilized in an actual vehicle was also critical.
