Esteemed Guests in Rockland for This Shabbos

This Shabbos, parashas Yisro/kabbolas HaTorah, Monsey will welcome four esteemed guests—venerated Admorim and mashpi’im who will inspire the Monsey community— to its environs. 

As we have reported, the Viznitzer Rebbe of Bnei Brak will spend Shabbos in the court of his cousin, the Viznitzer Rebbe of Monsey, and lead Shabbos alongside him. The Chassidim of Viznitz-Monsey are expected to donate generously toward the Rebbe’s efforts to pay off the magnificent beis medrash that the Rebbe has built in Bnei Brak. 

The Viener Rebbe will spend Shabbos in Monsey in honor of the wedding of his grandchild. The Rebbe will conduct tefillos and tischen in his beis Medrash on Francis place. 

Rav Aharon Tausig is a legendary mashpiah from the city of Yerushalayim, and the author of seforim. He will spend Shabbos in the Tashbar Talmud Torah on Old Nyack Turnpike in honor of Shovavim and Kabbolas haTorah. 

Finally, the Yavozna Rebbe—known for his fiery avodah and oratory—will spend Shabbos with chassidim in the Monsey community. Tefillos and tischen will take place in the Viznitzer girls school at 229 Maple Avenue.
