Arrests Made for Recent Burglaries

The Town of Ramapo Police Department announced they made two arrests for burglaries reported over the last couple of months. 

The two arrests occurred on Tuesday, August 1. The first one was of a juvenile connected to a residential burglary in Ramapo in June. He was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree (C-Felony). Ramapo PD reported the youth was issued an appearance ticket and will report to the Rockland County Probation Department for further proceedings.

The second arrest was of a 33-year-old male from Spring Valley connected to a commercial burglary on July 21. The male was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree (D-Felony) and Grand Larceny 3rd Degree (D-Felony). After arraignment in the Town of Ramapo Court, he was released without bail pending a future court appearance.
