$1.8 Million in Grants Awarded to Hudson River Communities
$1.8 million in grants has been awarded by New York State for 26 projects that will help communities along the Hudson River Estuary improve water quality, enhance environmental education, and advance stewardship of natural resources.
The twenty-six awarded projects include one proposed by the Village of Nyack.
To date, the Department of Environmental Conservation's Hudson River Estuary Program has awarded 643 grants totaling more than $28 million.
