Tragedy Strikes Monsey Community With Shocking Passing of Reb Hershy Grauz, z”l, in Israel

Shock and sadness coursed through the Monsey community with the shocking and sudden passing of Reb Hershy Grauz in Eretz Yisroel. He had arrived there three days ago to spend the Yomim Tovim in Eretz Yisroel, and collapsed shortly thereafter in the parking lot at Ben Gurion Airport. 

He was in critical condition for two days, after which he returned his soul to its Maker. He was 39 years of age and was a resident of Monsey. 

The niftar leaves behind four bereft orphans and will forever be remembered for his infectious joy and ever-present smile. 

The levaya will take place in Eretz Yisroel on Thursday.
