Public Meeting to Address Questions Regarding Installation of CHPE's Electric Lines Passing Through County

As preparations continue for the Canadian Power Company to break ground in Rockland en route to NYC, as reported previously by Rockland Daily here. a public informatinal meeting will take place tomorrow regarding the endeavor.

The meeting will inform the business district along Route 9W, residents, and shoppers of CHPE's plans. Questions regarding the installation of the 1250 W electric line passing through Rockland from Quebec before arriving at this destination in Queens will be answered as well. 

The Public Informational Meeting with Transmission Developers, Inc., will be held at the Stony Point Community Senior Room, 19 Clubhouse Lane, Patriot Hills, Stony Point, from 6 to 8 p.m.
