Weekend Weather: Mixed Weather Expected for the Start of Sukkos

Highs today will be in the mid-60s, with the ongoing unsettled weather pattern bringing a chance for another two to three inches of heavy rain and wind gusts of up to 11 mph.

Tonight, the first night of Sukkos, it is likely that there will be continued rain, which will be heavy at times, and an overnight temperature drop to 54 degrees.

There is a chance of lingering scattered showers before 2 p.m. on the first day of Sukkos, Shabbos day. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 65 during the day and 52 degrees at night.

The second day of Yom Tov will see an improvement with sunny skies and a high of 73 degrees during the day and 58 at night.

The weather for Chol Hamoed will resemble the second day of Yom Tov, albeit a few degrees warmer, heading up to 79 degrees until Thursday when temperatures will drop slightly, and sunny skies will give way to clouds through Shabbos.
