The Village of Spring Valley Deputy Mayor Yisroel Eisgenbach was sworn in last night as a new member of the Rockland County Sewer District #1 Board of Commissioners.
Mayor Alan Simon, who recently resigned from his position on the sewer board, recommended his Deputy Mayor as his successor. This recommendation was well-received, leading to the Deputy Mayor's appointment.
The appointment was spearheaded by Rockland County Legislator, with the support of the Chairman of the Board, Supervisor Michael Specht.
"There's a saying: if you want something done, give it to a busy person because they find time to get things done." Deputy Mayor Eisenbach shares with Rockland Daily, "When Chairman of the Rockland County Sewer District #1 Board, Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht reached out asking if I would consider the position, I told him I am always eager to seize opportunities to contribute to the betterment of our community."
The new commissioner brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to public service, promising to advocate for the needs and interests of the Spring Valley community within the broader context of Rockland County Sewer District #1.
"I'm excited and looking forward to serving as a commissioner and looking out for the best interests of the community," Eisenbach concludes, "especially the village of Spring Valley within Rockland County Sewer District #1."
