UPDATE: Eretz Yisroel Under Rocket Attack

Thursday evening saw another barrage of rockets in multiple locales in Israel.

One person was tragically killed in Rechovot due to a fallout from a rocket.

Many population centers are taking cover in shelters as sirens continue to sound. 

ORIGINAL REPORT 5/10:

The cities of Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and surrounding cities in the center of the country are under rocket attack this evening in the latest slew of terror attacks that began on Lag Ba’omer day. 

The terrorists in Gaza tended to target coastal cities like Ashdod in past attacks. This targeting of major cities marks a significant escalation—an escalation that, it is feared, has the potential to lead to all-out war. 

B’chasdei Hashem, many of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome system. 

This is in addition to the regular targets like Ashdod and surrounding towns where rocket sirens were activated. All around these towns where sirens were sounded, families gathered in shelters, conducting minyanim there, waiting out the recent barrage of rockets in the hope that it will end soon.
