Uber, Lyft Drivers to Strike Across Country for Higher Pay

Thousands of Uber and Lyft drivers are expected to park their cars today, Wednesday, and strike at airports across the country for better pay and benefits. 

Uber and Lyft drivers plan daylong strikes in Chicago, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Florida; Hartford, Connecticut; Newark, New Jersey; Austin, Texas; and Providence, Rhode Island. 

The strike is being organized by Justice for App workers, an umbrella organization representing Uber and Lyft drivers.
