Two Spring Valley Residents Arrested for Yesterday's Murder

After an unidentified individual was found unresponsive in Spring Valley yesterday, as reported in Rockland Daily here, two arrests were made by the Spring Valley Police Department today. 

The victim has been identified as 52-year-old Luis Pinduisaca-Villa of Spring Valley.

While driving home, the initial 9-1-1 caller came across the male lying in the street. 

Spring Valley Officers and Detectives spent the night conducting

interviews, gathering evidence and following leads which eventually led to the arrest of 27-year-old Spring Valley resident Oscar Garcia-Garcia and 40-year-old Spring Valley resident Eustaquio Diaz-Guitierrez. The first suspect was in custody approximately 12 hours after committing the crime.

Each of the men was arraigned in Spring Valley Justice Court, in front of the Honorable Judge Exias, on an A-1 Felony, Murder in the second-degree charge. They were remanded to the Rockland County Jail.

Although arrests have been made, the investigation is still ongoing. The Spring Valley Police Department is asking anyone with information or who may have seen anything suspicious in that area around that time to call the Spring Valley Police Department at (845)-356-7400.
