Rockland Daily Staff

Last week, there were two gun-related incidents in Nyack.

In the first incident that Clarkstown Police reported, there was an argument between a tractor-trailer driver and his passenger on Thursday night, January 12. A pistol was present, but no rounds were fired.

The truck driver, 21-year-old Aaron Mosley of Virginia, is said to have denied having a weapon despite a search turning up one. He was taken to the Rockland County Jail after being charged twice with criminal weapon possession.

The second incident reported by Clarkstown Police also involved an argument with a pistol present with no rounds fired. Clarkstown Police Detective Norm Peters reported that two neighbors got into an argument, and one pulled out a black and silver revolver and made threatening statements.
