Travel Advisory: Weekend Closures On NYS Thruway

The NYS Thruway Authority is letting local residents know that the ramp from northbound Route 9W to the southbound Thruway (I-87/I-287) and the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge will be closed from 10pm Friday, April 25, until 5am Monday, April 28. The closures will be due to maintenance work that will be getting done on the highway. 

Drivers will be guided to a one-mile detour to interchange 11 in Nyack to access the southbound Thruway and bridge. Drivers will still be able to enter the northbound Thruway from Route 9W during the weekend closure.
