Town of Ramapo Supervisor Specht Distributes Reflectors Around Rockland

Last Thursday, Town or Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht went to various locations in Monsey and Spring Valley to hand out safety reflectors to encourage using reflectors regularly when out after dark. 

The Town Supervisor was accompanied by community member Meyer Tauber. Together, the pair gave out over 800 sashes at a girls school alone.

"It was great to see how eager the students were to practice safety," Specht shares with Rockland Daily. "We met with people shopping on Main Street in Monsey and people walking throughout the area, and everyone was very happy to get the reflectors. It was a great experience, and we will be doing it again very soon."
