TODAY: Levaya for Burned Sifrei Torah

Yesterday’s devastating fire in Pomona’s Lubavitch shul left destruction in its wake, most heartbreakingly on the shul’s sifrei Torah, which were damaged and burned in the fire. 

The levaya for the 3 sifrei Torah will be held today at 4pm at 34 N Ridge Road, Pomona.

Rabbanim will deliver divrei hisoreres, and the crowd will say Tehillim together, gathering in mourning after this terrible loss.

At the same moment, the kehila will gather to rebuild Hashem's home and initiate the writing of a new Sefer Torah. This Sefer Torah will be dedicated to the new shul that will be built in its place.
