The Shofar Factory Visits ASHAR's Early Childhood Students

ASHAR's nursery, pre-k, kindergarten, and 1st graders participated in a hands-on Shofar Factory presentation from Tzivos Hashem Crafts Workshops.

Students were invited to view and touch the horns of various animals and learned which horns are kosher for use as a shofar.

Students then made a real shofar by pulling out the marrow from the horn, which was then sawed off at the tip.

A hole was then drilled into the horn to complete the shofar. Each class received its own shofar.
