Stony Point Police Arrest Two Men Wanted on Outstanding Warrants

By Rockland Daily Staff

On the morning of February 4, 2025, Stony Point Police, in collaboration with the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Division, executed a warrant investigation at a residence in Tomkins Cove, NY. The property was known to house individuals with outstanding criminal warrants.

During the operation, officers arrested Robert J. Keahon, 45, who had an outstanding warrant from Worcester County, Massachusetts, for charges including forgery, identity fraud, and larceny. Keahon was transported to the Stony Point Police Department for processing and is currently held at Rockland County Jail awaiting extradition to Massachusetts.

Another individual, Americo Sousa, 38, was also taken into custody at the residence. Sousa had a bench warrant issued by the Clarkstown Town Court for criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, as well as vehicle and traffic violations. He was processed by the Stony Point Police Department and later transferred to the custody of the Clarkstown Police Department.

Authorities noted that additional individuals residing at the property, who also have outstanding warrants from Spring Valley, Clarkstown, and Bronx, NY, were not present during the investigation. Efforts to locate and apprehend them are ongoing.

Police emphasized that a criminal complaint is merely an accusation, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
