Senior Advisory Meeting Held at JCC Rockland

JCC Rockland hosted a Senior Advisory meeting last Monday with Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick.

The meeting was the last in a two-year series given by the senator to allow participating seniors from across Rockland to air concerns and hear updates that concern them from Albany. 

Guest speakers included Robin Brill and Anne Sirkin of Swapping Scenes Senior Move Managers, who gave important information on making one's home safer to avoid injuries and living independently as long as possible.

The senator also reminded those in attendance about the Homeowner Tax Rebate Credit for homeowners making less than $250,00 a year.
