Senator Bill Weber and the Antisemitism Working Group to Host Antisemitism Roundtable Discussion in Rockland County

Senator Bill Weber and the Antisemitism Working Group will be holding a roundtable discussion focused on addressing antisemitism. 

Rockland residents are invited to attend the discussion, scheduled for tomorrow night at the Clarkstown Town Hall, Auditorium Room 301, located at 10 Maple Avenue in New City, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Antisemitism Working Group, chaired by New York State Senator Jack Martins representing the 7th Senate District, consists of members Senator Bill Weber (38thSD).Senator Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick (9th SD), Senator Joe Griffo (53rd SD), and Senator Peter Oberacker (51st SD). 

Guest speakers will share insights and expertise on various aspects of antisemitism. 

Topics include Antisemitic Incidents, where the speakers will offer valuable perspectives on the nature and prevalence of antisemitic incidents in the community;  Combating Antisemitism in Schools and Sports Teams, which will include a roundtable discussion to explore strategies and solutions for addressing antisemitism within educational institutions and sports organizations. Partnering with Law Enforcement will also be discussed and will include experiences shared by law enforcement officials in addition to sharing collaborative efforts to ensure the effective prosecution of antisemitic crimes.
