RSK Night Out Raises Funds for Rockland Families in Need of Assistance

RSK invited the community to get into the Yom Tov spirit while helping families in need.

RSK's mission is to fulfill the dream of R' Shayala of Kerestir - to create more self-sufficient, financially- independent families who no longer need to lean on charity. Each of the organization's programs is designed to help hardworking families through a temporary crisis, so they can turn around, find their footing, and become donors to the same fund that stirred their recovery, completing their journey from taking to giving.

The evening took place in a tent adjacent to Leil Shishi Diner on Monday, September 19. Highlights for attendees included a dried meat station - a Leil Shishi exclusive, gourmet cured fish station by Yoelis Gourmet, wine tasting by Yoely Huss from Wine on 59, and the Sounds of Yom Tov music with Pumpidisa. The highlight for RSK was the ability to assist so many more families before Yom Tov through the funds raised during the course of the evening.
