Rocklands Unemployment Rate Lowest in Region

Rockland County registered as the lowest in the region during February, according to  the State Labor Department report released on Tuesday, 

With its 3.0 percent rate of unemployment, Rockland comes in as the lowest, putting it ahead of Putnam County, which came in second with 3.2 percent unemployment. Rockland was followed by Putnam County, which came in second, with Columbia, Dutchess, and Westchester at 3.3 percent joblessness. Orange County was 3.4 percent, Ulster 3.5 percent, Sullivan County 3.6 percent, Greene County 4.0 percent, and Delaware County was 4.5 percent.

This year's February jobless rates in all the counties registered below numbers for last February.
