Rockland's Emergency Agencies Conduct Joint Educational Exercise

Rockland County emergency response agencies participated in an exercise this week to enhance Rockland County emergency organizations and responders to incidents that might occur along the CSX rail corridor.

Participants in the emergency response exercise included agency representatives from Rockland fire and police departments, the public health department, CSX, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Veolia Water NY, and elected officials.

Strengthening the ongoing partnerships between agencies through exercises such as this one helps ensure better health and safety for Rockland residents.
