The two left with nine other team members on Motzei Shabbos to serve as 911 paramedics to relieve Israeli paramedics who have been called up to active duty in the IDF.
The volunteers are part of Hatzoloh Heart (Hatzoloh Emergency Response Team), which has unfortunately seen multiple deployments over the years and may see more as the war continues.
The HEART mission is to offer support by standing in as emergency personnel for United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom when their members respond to the ongoing war. Team members have been trained and stand ready to deploy to Israel when necessary at a moment’s notice.
