Rockland County Teen Found Lifeless in Hudson Valley River

After missing for several hours on Monday, a Rockland County 19-year-old was found lifeless in the Hudson Valley River.

New York State Police were notified at 6 am on Monday that Kevin Pinto, from Spring Valley, went missing near Haverstraw Beach State Park.

The New York State Police Underwater Recovery Team along with local fire departments scoured the water. 

The Rockland County Sheriff's Office bloodhound, along with New York Park Police, state troopers, and members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, helped with the ground search.

In the afternoon, Pinto’s body was recovered in the river.

While the investigation continues, there does not appear to be any foul play, police said.
