Rockland County Recieves Funding for Countrywide Mass Notification System

Rockland County has applied $195,475 in funding to provide a countywide residential multi-mode mass notification system.

The Rockland County Sheriff's Office has already implemented an internal alert notification system for County employees, and the system is now being expanded to incorporate residents countywide.

Rockland County Executive Ed Day was joined by Purchasing Director Paul Brennan and Sheriff Louis Falco last week where the appropriate papers were signed, finalizing that Safeware Inc. will be the service provider  under a three-year service agreement,
